Today

Today we saw Pool of Bethesda,Temple Mount, West Wall and West Tunnel. The most powerful spot today was Gabbatha - place Jesus was beaten.

Gethsemane and Caiaphas House were

Gethsemane and Caiaphas House were both powerful places to visit. We then visited trad. site of Upper and then Bethlehem--Jesus' birthplace

Jerusalem- very busy day-started w/

Jerusalem- very busy day-started w/ Mount of Olives, walked Truimphant entry path to Place of Tears then to Gethsemane for lesson and prayer.

Day 5a-Visited ein gedi, a

Day 5a-Visited ein gedi, a place of refuge for David, had church service, lunch & now driving to Jerusalem...I can not wait!

Day 5- rose early to

Day 5- rose early to see sunrise over jordan & dead sea..amazing. Visited Massada- hiked to top & took the tran down...50 min hike,700 steps

Day 4a- vistited Qumran(dead sea

Day 4a- vistited Qumran(dead sea scrolls were found), then floated in dead sea - very relaxing.

Day 4-Started day being baptized

Day 4-Started day being baptized in the Jordan, visited Giddeon springs,now heading to dead sea. Looking forward to a camel ride & swim (float)

Day 3a- Rode a boat

Day 3a- Rode a boat on the Sea of Galilee from near Capernaum to Tiberias.....very emotional to be on the Sea of Galilee and reflect on God

Day 3 - Visited Mount

Day 3 - Visited Mount of Beatitudes and Capernaum...neat to see the area that Chirst used has his home base. For lunch we had St Peters fish

The posts will be short as I can only text message them and not use an email service from my phone. I will also not be able to send "daily" pictures but will post when I have connection at the hotel. It also appears that the post actually triple post for some reason from text msg.....sorry about that.

Today we visited Cesara Martima, Megiddo, and Nazareth.....As I am on the clock for my connection this will be short, and I will send more info via text, but I wanted to include a couple of pictures. As you can tell by the pictures it rained most of the day, but usually stopped when we were out of the bus.

Day 1a - First Day

Day 1a - First Day in Israel we boarded a bus from the airport and headed to our hotel in Herzeliah. Had dinner and Lance shared . Off to bed

Day 1 -PTL we made it! Overall a good flight. Watched a couple of movies, read a lot and did a few Suduko puzzles -- the food was not bad either

From LAX

Sitting at lunch and thought I would post before bording the plane. The day started with my family dropping me off at the Covina metrolink station, then a trip to Union Station where I boarded the fly-away shuttle to LAX. One hour and twenty minutes I was at the terminal. That's is for now......
